Hello Kathyy,
it takes a little bit more to make it full width. It is possible however requires some theme modification. You may either check the files header.php and wrapper-header.php where you can find code responsible for header layout. There you will see div’s with classes .container
& .span12
– this hold everything withing container. The theme is built on bootstrap, so you would have to get rid of the mentioned containers to make it full width.
At this stage I would also recommend making the changes within the child theme, as this will save your customization for the future and you will still benefit from future updates. So if you have some certain knowledge of coding you should be fine customising it, otherwise you can get us to modify it however it wouldn’t fall under support, but would be charged separately as a custom work. This way we could make the changes professionally for you and make it withing the child theme. So then you can customise the theme even further (if needed of course) without the need of loosing you changed with future updates. Please raise a support ticket here if you would like to go ahead with this. Then I can give you a quote and guide you through the process.
